There is more to life than the ability to predict.

What do I exist?

What can we overcome from nihilism?

What makes us" hope"?

Or what makes us" salvation"?

-The answer to all these questions is art to me.

Living as an artist is a tough and arduous process that requires long silence, long labor, and dry breathing with solitude, but it is beautiful and noble.

Meditation in the city, eternity and a day, sealed time, the house of soul.

As shown in a series of exhibition titles, my work expresses emotions of time and eternity, meditation and silence in a low, quiet way through a neat and calm composition.

It also implies the dual messages and emotions of finite human destiny and limitless natural forces, worldly and holy, raised morality, longing for paramita and the pursuit of eternity, remorse and longing for life.

Above all, I want to show two areas of moral reflection and aesthetic reflection through work.

Tolstoy, who had practiced and exposed his moral beliefs throughout his writings and life, is a writer I always admire in this respect.

If possible, I would rather show the transcendence of life, simplicity, casualness, and deep immersion in the interior than imply too much meaning or ideals.

If there is any justification as a human being who is incomplete and vulnerable but we must pursue to the end, I would say it is the pursuit of goodness based on morality. And through the work, I wanted and want to express a noble human image that won't be swayed by self-respect and heightened morality.

I got a deeper touch and inspiration in literary work than images.

I always believe in the power and enjoyment of text rather than images.

I have also been greatly influenced by text mainly through literary works in the source, mood and message of work. There are Albert Camus, Franz Kafka, Philip Roth, Bohumil Hrabal, Isabel Allende, Borges, etc. who impress me.

I wish my painting could be beautiful, and I hope the beauty contains the sublime of introspection and reflection.

So, I hope that the audience watching my paintings will feel the sacredness of life through the beauty of the world and look back on themselves for a moment through moral reflection.

And by getting comforted through the time of reflection and glancing into deep within themselves, I hope that they can have a beautiful ease to reconcile with themselves in the past and affirm life again.
